A short story for 6-7 year olds – OUT SOON in the New Zealand School’s Junior Journal 2011.
Scaredy Crow is the smallest crow and he’s terrified of the scarecrow in the corn patch. The other crows tease him for being a coward. If Scaredy Crow does not find some courage soon, he will starve.
Then, up pop three mice who might be small and frightened too, but they have a plan that might just help Scaredy Crow. Will the four outwit the crow flock?
